The ad hoc Elections Committee has approved 27 candidates for the ETU Council. One application was rejected by the ad hoc Committee for being submitted after the deadline. President Pragalos was unopposed and 4 candidates registered for the Vice-presidency. An additional 21 candidates are on the ballot to be elected as Council member while only one candidate came forward for the position of Auditor.
The elections will be held in person on the occasion of the 2021 Presidents Cup in Istanbul, Turkey. The Pullman Hotel and Convention Center will be the setting for these elections and it is expected that ETU member federations will be present to cast their votes and elect their Council for the next four years!
